Do pest control contracts have a 3-day cancellation?
Under the FTC Cooling-Off Rule, sales of $25 or more made at the customer’s home (or $130 or more at a temporary location) can be cancelled until midnight of the third business day. Sales at your place of business, or made entirely by phone, mail or online, are not covered by the federal rule.
How does a customer cancel a pest control contract?
As the agreement says - usually written notice a set number of days before the next service or renewal. Put the notice method (email, letter) and timing in the cancellation clause so there is no dispute.
