Retention and delivery
Federal (restricted-use pesticides): record within 14 days of application, keep 2 years, give the customer a copy within 30 days on request (7 CFR 110.3).
State rules usually cover general-use products too and often require longer retention: e.g. Washington 7 years; California, Arizona, Iowa, Ohio, Oregon, New York and Pennsylvania 3 years; Texas, Georgia, Illinois 2 years.
